Woodland Ferry & Nanticoke River, near Seaford, DE (www.WoodlandFerry.net) A scenic 500 ft cable ferry crossing of the Nanticoke River in operation for 200 years. Current ferry is 42 years old and serves 70,000 vehicles per year (4 cars per trip). GPS: 5426 Woodland Ferry Rd, Seaford, DE 19973.
Many of our regular group of artists participated this day. Most enjoyed this new Delaware Gem for a first time. It was a serene, beautiful area to paint plein air:
